Take your lapidary work to the next level with the all-new 12" Ameritool HD Flat Lap from Covington. Designed for professionals and serious hobbyists, this heavy-duty grinder offers a larger working surface and powerful performance for tackling bigger stones and more demanding projects.

Equipped with a variable speed control ranging from 25 to 1800 RPM, you’ll have precise control over every grinding and smoothing stage. The .5 HP direct-drive motor delivers robust torque, making easy work of heavy-duty grinding without stalling or slowing down. The steel grinding plate is magnet-friendly, allowing for quick, tool-free changes between magnetic-backed diamond discs.

A built-in water manifold system with loc-line delivery, water pump, tubing, and a convenient drain keeps your work area cool and clean, ensuring optimal performance and extended disc life.

Please note: Diamond discs are not included but the unit is fully compatible with Covington’s resin and nickel-bonded diamond disc lines.
