Dressing blocks quickly restore your blade by deglazing the rim and re-exposing fresh diamond for sharper, faster, and smoother cuts.

Available in multiple grit and material options to suit different blades and applications:

  • 60 Grit Aluminum Oxide (8" x 3" x 3")
    The ideal choice for Covington’s Ultimate Glass Blade. Its larger size makes it highly effective at removing glaze, ensuring your blade is ready for precision glass cutting.

  • 80 Grit Aluminum Oxide
    Perfect for standard Covington glass blades. This block deglazes the rim and refreshes the diamond surface, improving cutting performance and extending blade life.

  • 220 Grit Silicon Carbide
    A versatile option for any Covington lapidary blade. Simply slice into the block a few times to expose fresh diamond and get your saw cutting like new.

  • 220 Grit Aluminum Oxide
    Specially designed for resin blades. This softer, less aggressive block dresses the rim gently, maintaining performance without risking damage to the blade’s delicate edge.
