Bring professional precision to your lapidary work with Hi-Tech Diamond electroplated diamond discs—built for the All-U-Need flat lap and Slant Cabber, as well as any lap machine that accepts 1/2" arbors. Available in 6" and 8" diameters and a wide range of grit sizes, these discs are offered with or without 3M pressure-sensitive adhesive backing to fit your setup.

Each disc is crafted using top-grade diamond powder, uniformly nickel electroplated onto a 1mm-thick steel disc. This design delivers the highest quality flat grinding surface for both rough and fine grinding on stones and glass. Because they are steel-based, these discs are long-lasting and heavy-duty, making them ideal for demanding lapidary projects.

The superior diamond matrix means more than just durability—it translates into a smoother polish, consistent performance, and a more efficient workflow with fewer disc changes. From shaping and grinding to final polishing, these discs help you achieve professional results with ease.

  • Max RPM: 4,000

  • Discs require a backing plate

  • For non-adhesive discs, we recommend purchasing disc bushings to prevent vibration and ensure proper alignment

Shopping was easy and fast. Also the cabbing machine arrived quickly and packaged very well. My husband unpacked it and made sure it ran. He did discover a cracked tray and called customer service. It was corrected very quickly with a replacement. Great company to do business with.

Everything arrived in good shape and delivery was smooth. Haven't gotten started yet with the tumbler so can't tell you about how it works. The instructions didn't tell me how to attach the bowl to the base! Had to learn that from a You-Tube video! Haven't plugged it in yet.
